The Power of Visualisation

The following story is about Jim Carrey and how he used visualisation to empower him to become a world famous actor. Even though he suffered from ADHD and left school at 15 to help support his family, he never gave up his dream to become an actor.

He believed in the law of Attraction. In 1990 when he was virtually unknown as an actor he started visualising himself being given a cheque for $10,000,000 for acting services rendered. He would visualise the cheque dated July 1995 and see himself putting it in his pocket. He would get in a state of total joy and belief that he had the cheque and he would also sit in his car on top of the Hollywood Hills and visualise himself being a successful actor.

In 1995 Jim Carrey signed a contract for $10,000,000 for his part in the movie ‘Dum and Dumber’

As Carrey admits, he was absolutely determined to succeed and never gave up on his dream to become a famous Hollywood actor. Even when he was living in a camper-van supporting his sick mother and his family, he held onto his dream and continued to visualise his future success.

This true story demonstrates the power of visualisation and the fact that when it comes to your dreams and goals, you don’t have to see it to believe it. You first have to believe it, then you’ll see it.

Visualisation

Visualisation and belief has power we should all make use of, after all it is free.

Until next time, all the best
